Eastport Yacht Club
Not your traditional blue blazer club, EYC is built on activity, on the water and ashore. Our members are involved in a diverse range of boating activities, supported by social events and strong camaraderie. Known for our million-dollar view of the Severn River and Annapolis, EYC also is recognized in the Chesapeake Bay region and beyond as a club capable of managing major championship regattas, Friday night Beer Can races, and everything in between, as well as providing great social networking for cruising, parties, and charity events. It’s all about life on the water, and all about fun.
Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club
The Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club was founded in 1882. The following year H.R.H. Princess Louise visited Bermuda and while here, granted the Club it’s Royal Charter. Over the years, the “Royal” designation was dropped, but after application to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II it was decided to reapply and confirmation was received in 1953. The R.H.A.D.C. remains the only “Royal” Dinghy Club in the world. The original flag of HDC (Hamilton Dinghy Club) still remains framed and displayed proudly on the club premises.
