ORC Rating Seminar (Hybrid Format)

Join the A2B Organization Committee and Ben Capuco at our next seminar about the ORC rating system used in the 2026 race. This event will be held at the Eastport Yacht Club (EYC) on Saturday, January 10 from 9am until 12pm — and available online for participants who are unable to join in person. (A Zoom link will be emailed to you after registration)

Ben is the owner and skipper of Zuul, an Aerodyne 38 well known on the Bay, and overall ORC winner of the 2025 Annapolis to Newport race.

The seminar is primarily for skippers, navigators, and tacticians to learn about the rating system employed for the 2026 race, the difference between ORC Club certificates and ORCi (fully measured) certificates. Additionally the seminar will discuss the difference between ORC Open and ORC Performance Cruiser classes.

The seminar will also cover the steps and boat data required to apply for your rating certificate ahead of the Mustang Survival Annapolis to Bermuda 2026 Ocean Race.
